Someone I was talking to wanted tips on scanning. Would anyone like to help out?

i would say dont practice on unsespecting people because you never know how they will react you would be best to practice with a friend

Throughout my life, I have been able to read people's feelings/opinions/thoughts-- but not hear the words they form in thier minds-- just the emotion. Not just from body language either, but just from being around their energy.

Is this scanning? Heck, if it is, I wonder if they could feel my 'radar"!

I just figured it was intuition that everyone basically has (unless they become de-sensitized).

i can do roughly that but i don't think that its intuition because i don't know of that many people whom can do that.

I guess I assumed everyone could do this to some extent. I can't read their thoughts or communicate mentally to people though-- it's just their emotions and opinions , and if they are positive or negative.

I can pick up without them saying a word. This has been since early childhood. Comes in handy, i'll tell ya!

Words are for communicating, they are a poor means of thinking.

Agreed, visualisation is a lot better... imagine you would have to describe everything in your head... you'd need hours to think of a storyline... Oo

anyway, I've read that before you start scanning, you should first be a bit familiar with empathy and telepathy... so how familiar do you have to be? do you really have to be good at receiving and empathy? or is it enough if you can roughly receive shapes and colors and are able to pick up strong emotions, and on some occasions weaker ones as well?

yeah... when I try telepathy, the first thing I think of is usually right... even though I think of other things later and just pick the one that seems "right" to me...

I usually get it wrong when I do that

When i practice scanning i play soft music and try to repeat the line: Connect to (Person you want to connect to)

But i don't know if that really works

isnt scanning when you use clairvoiance, empathy and telepathy at the same time?
