ok, so the Violet thing (from the incredibles). she was not using a "telekinetic shell". she created a force field. its a barrier made up of energy, to protect her. (i guess its the same thing as a PKshield) but this is the definition for that super power. psychic abilities are also given the status of "super powers" in comic books, even though they arent. but i guess that at the level at which the heros use them would make them super powers (its cool to think that with training we could become "SUPER PSIs")

i read something people that are like really advanced in shielding can deflect small objects that would be sweet i wish i could make a shield like that it would probably take alot of maintenance to keep it working properly.

ok fine, currently it's not possible due to the fact the amount of energy you would have to gather and skill involved would take at least 20 years and extremely few people that have amount of exprience.

Actually, getting that much energy isn't a problem. You could gather it from the dark, or earth around you or from the sun.
Like was said before. Psi is only as big as you make it.
The only problem would be controlling that much psi. Once you can though it wouldn't be that hard if you knew how to sheild well.
As well as many others, I like your idea, JediKaren, about using a physical sheild for a snowball fight. When I'm able to that I might be able to use cyrokinesis/hydrokinesis to move the snow to throw it at the others!
*Has image of snowball floating into classroom and hitting target in head....*

I can't deflect snowballs, but I can make a sheild to deflect rain, and small debris. Such as sand or a paperclip, or even a small wadded up peice of paper. It is really only usefull when it's raining.

nope..though it would be useful in a snow ball fight Karen, I do not think you should say No. Since it is possible, and probbally easy when you think about it. ~Jano

I understand that I'm posting late... but I took a break forums for a while and the ones that I was watching just went got covered up by the new posts and I'm looking through the old ones that I wanted to reply to.

Deflecting physical objects is possible in theory, but I've never heard of it done. I would imagine it to be like a glorified forceball, maybe with some extra programming so that it doesn't constantly exert a force.
