Yes I believe in an after life, but I believe two things could happen to you once you die. One is you stay in the afterlife and you enjoy it there you gain power to create stuff with thought and have powers to alter your form, and you live a life in the afterlife. Another is resurrection, when you are reborn you don't have to be reborn as a human you can be reborn as as an animal or an alien . and the same for the animals. I also believe you have a choice of what you will be reborn as (I for one would either choose shark, dolphin or bird ) sadly I feel like my believes are not really connected to my religion (Christian/Lutheran)

No, there's a difference between "physically incarnate" and "alive." Just 'cause your physical body is dead doesn't mean you are.

From JediKaren's Experience's in the Astral, as well as little bit of my own, a plus a little info from my sub-c I came up with this: First once you die you go to one of the various planes. Sorry people, no heaven or hell. After we get sent to a plane we have a choice: stay in the astral or apply for a guardian ship to return to earth. The problem is you only get full control of the body you were born with. So you end up being someone's spirit guide. It would not be a permanent home in the physical, just a very constricting one.
As for staying in the astral. Your choices are: see what is for sale at the Nexus and either get a job or start a buisness and try to live kind of like you do in earth. The final choice is to work/study at a temple of your choosing.
I speculate that you can die somehow in the astral, because of the laws of nature. There has do be someway to fully die in one of these little cycles because the law of conservation should still apply.

My theory: you die, go to a temporary afterlife in the astral plane where you can set things up for your next life--as well as just take a break for a bit, doing whatever you want--then you're reincarnated.

Well, one thing that made me think is that I heard of a guy that got a heart transplant and after that he had memories that wasn't his. And that made me think that the memories from the Physical Plane stays in the Physical Body and that when you die you forget all about the Physical life. And now I guess you say, "But when I leave my body in an OBE I still remember the Earth life" And that might be because you are connected with the silver cord. But when you then die the silver cord get cut of and that would make you lose your Earth memories.
Well even though I think this idea is wrong because of all the "Past Life" memories you can get back, I still wanted to write the idea for some reason even though it's probably was a waist of time.

To the people still on earth it does....and i hear you get your memory erased, what fun is that?..... We express ourselfs as I......The spirit,mind/soul,and body together is I........ Me, or You......Now if a part of you dies what fun is that? you need all three to be you!!! just my opinion...

I am a Christian in faith, but i do also believe in the possibility of re-incarnation. I think i was re-incarnated from a tribal member way way way back(like because times). I don't know how I know this, i just know it. All theories sound like it could be possible, we just never know until we experience it ourselves. Who knows, maybe when we do die and we do get to be someone's spirit guide, we can tell them! Right now, I fear death. I don't think everyone does, and some people can't wait to experience it for their own reasons, which i can't see why. I like my life here on earth!!! I just hope when i die, there's something out there waiting for me.

My opinion is that if any one god exists, then why shouldn't the others? (I'm not saying that they DO or do not, I'm just pointing out the hypocrosies of many religions, the whole 'my god eats your god for lunch' speel.) I try to avoid organized religion in general, I wouldn't want to inflict myself upon any half decent belief system. ^_^

well you gotta realize that religion was made to prevent "chaos" or so it says in anthropology books
in my opinion some people really do need religion gives them hope and faith for example Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) uses religion and I am sure people do benefit from it.

If you ever do find the perfect religion, I encourage you not to join it. If you did, it wouldn't be perfect anymore, now would it?"
