Nostradamus had a prophecy about someone called Mabus who apparently is going to lead us in a 27 year world war soon.
My friend had a dream which she believes to be precognitive about worldwide flooding, and talking birds with human faces.
What do you believe is going to happen in future world events?

Hinting about 2012 are we now? Worldwide flooding- may happen, global warming and stuff. Actually hasn't it already begun? Tsunamis, Hurricane Katrina, etc etc? Talking birds with human faces- I think this is never going to happen. Genetic modifications only happen when there is a need for it to happen. E.G. Pegnuins have wings, but cannot fly because there was no need to do so in the Antartic. |

Sorry I couldn't think of a nice example which didn't involve mass disaster! The birds part was in fact a part of her religious beliefs but I was just wondering what other people thought as I've only ever had small precogs on a selfish level.

World War? Sure... if people are willing to have a hand in completely destroying the human race. I'm sure there are some people out there that are on the extreme end (pro-world war people), but that's most likely just a handful. Another world war would be like inviting the complete destruction of mankind.
Still though, I haven't heard of any of Nostradomas' visions being false (Although, I've only heard about the ones that came true... since that's all that people talk about).

ok can we all stop with this for everyone's sake?I dont know how manytimes subjects like this have been brung up.we do not know where the world is going in my opinion it will say orbiting aound the sun.and talking birds with human faces?did she watch cartoons before she went to bed?

Ah, so you are hinting on the "Revelations" chapter of The Bible, good. I think it will happen. If it does, Jesus will come down and take all the Christians. But let's not get off topic. This can become fluff, but let's not let that happen. If the Bible is correct, sometime in the future, there will be peace on earth for 3 years, then after that there will be a huge war from the Anti-Christ going into the Jewish church and saying, "I'm God! Worship me!" So, that's where i'm stopping. There are alot of precogs out there, and honestly, i don't like one bit of them, because they are almost all bad. But, it could happen, it could not. You never know. It's always great to be prepared for anything!

Oh just to clarify I wasn't talking specifically about the end of the world (but if that's what you wana talk about then that's good too) just what you think might happen in the future. Like who will be the President of America or whatever.

It's all a possibility. But at the same time, this "war on terroism" could last a long time, it's already happening and been so for a while, so it could be referencing to that. Talking birds ? Wouldn't know. Sounds a bit insane there (not calling them insane if you get my point) there is probably some meaning to it, break it apart I guess, look at a dream dictionary, it could help give suggestions.
