I wrote a little bit about this on my site, but here's what I think. Why train one's life to be able to kill people with psi. At first it doesn't sound good, but when you get the the possibilities of what you could do with this power, then you could do some real good. Just imagine rewriting the world into something else. Killing criminals, vicious politicians, and hate groups across the world. Imagine being able to stop entire wars with a few psiballs. Why not do something like this? It's the perfect crime. What jury and/or judge in their right mind, put some one in jail if all the evidence they could come up with was names on a list. The weapon of choice remains invisible to most people, and fast but also accurate. The question is, why not?

A necessary evil? OK. well for one thing, there are those times when the police have no idea what they're doing and occasionally, they call in psychic detectives. some of those detectives are not fake, and might find some way to get some evidence on you. Although It would be pretty hard to get anything on you.
a problem could be that It would take years, and years, and years to be able to get rid of an entire army, let alone just one criminal.
There are also people who may develop this power and use it for the opposite reason.
If you ask me, it's a bad idea. It would be O.K. at first, but it will probably make a war between the good and evil sides of psionics.

I do not agree with killing. Let nature take its course, it's not anyone's place to interfere. That has and always will be my stance.
Though the possibility of anyone killing directly with psi at this stage is, from my opinion, so slim that I don't mind calling it zero. Sorry to disagree with most of your 'nothing-is-impossible' rationale, but just believing in something doesn't cut it. But I'll play into the what-if and why-not scenario for you.
Have you ever watched the anime Death Note? It's pretty awesome. It might demonstrate this better for you..
Okay, so lets pretend we could kill with a single thought. Here's the bare basics. How the hell would you rationalize that you have any right to decide who lives and who dies? How many people on your psi-hit-list would you actually be able to know for a fact did something worth dying for? People get their facts wrong. Innocent people die all the time from false accusations and bad luck. So in the end, even if we did assume that person killed all the horrid people in the world, there would still be one murderer left.
You cant stop killing with killing.
Playing god doesn't make you a god.

Well said Rippy.
NeoPsychic your logic on stopping war is somewhat flawed. If it were possible to stop a war by killing someone then there would be no war because we already have means to kill people with. Think about current conflicts, removing the man at the top doesnt restore peace now does it?
The only difference between killing someone psionically and killing someone with a gun is the former is harder to prove. In both cases the person dies so if killing them were to solve the problem then the gun would be a just as effective means. Of course if you want to go down the people knowing it was a murder fueling the problem route then compare it to poisoning instead, there are plenty of poisons that dont show up on a tox report.

Yes possibilities of ONE person being able to have that much power is not likely, but I thought of (wrote it on my sit/blog) about possibly using more then one person to get enough power. You also assume that you have to by a complete moron to kill sombody and not have any feeling, or be evil right? There are some people who everyone find scum of the earth. After all, who would miss some a few child rapists and mass murderers right? But of course you don't believe in killing so you would rather want those people to live around you. Furball Honestly, do you ACTUALLY think other governments out there are going to war to really fight "evil"? If those same people could get control over wealth and power by other means, would they? The only differnece in killing some one psionicaly or with a gun is control. With psi, heart attack, stroke, name the way... And you are free to continue without being stopped. Try and kill more then 5 people with a gun or poison and see if you don't get caught. ( my god I sound like an idiot, these are not my personal opinions. Just crazy thoughts that run a muck with a little bite to em. Please excuse me as I have offended myself way more then I offended you )

Lol, I understand what you mean by that. I do that some times; just say things as more of a proposition than a personal opinion. It's a good way to bring a debate into play, but usually people end up hating me for it. xD Ah well, that's the risk with dangerous ideas. =P
And, even with more people, you still have the issue of defining 'evil'..
Sorry but, as much as it pains me not to agree with you on this, I have to. I would personally come to hate my own family if one of them were a murderer, but not everyone would. There's always the exception, and sometimes that unexpected exception holds enough love and more understanding than the rest of the opinions.. For example, my best friend, X, was raped by her father. Needless to say, he was sentenced to plenty of jail time. But did she want him to be? No. She still loved him. All of us were filled with rage toward him afterward, but she still loves him. Many of us would have liked him murdered. But not her. And to me, I think she's the one who deserves the say in the end.
And anyway, if someone had enough power to kill someone with psi in the first place, why not use it in a more.. helpful fashion? Why not eliminate the negative thoughts or genes in the first place, allowing free will but constraining the (in some cases) insane factors that sparked the murders or rapes in the first place? Of course, that could be argued to be completely going against any amount of actual freedom, but hey, it's better than killing 'em all. ;P
No, it's just, I think there are better solutions. ^^

Furball Honestly, do you ACTUALLY think other governments out there are going to war to really fight "evil"? No I dont, which is why I didnt mention the word evil in my first post. This seems to have no relation to what I said. The only differnece in killing some one psionicaly or with a gun is control. With psi, heart attack, stroke, name the way... And you are free to continue without being stopped. Try and kill more then 5 people with a gun or poison and see if you don't get caught. That was the point of the poison comment. There are actully cases where people have poisoned more than 5 people, OK they did get caught but that largly has to do with circumstance. For example I can think of a case of a woman who poisoned at least 3 people and no one had any idea about it untill someone thought it was a little odd that her last 3 husbands all died young. Anyway I digress from my original point I am happy to admit that killing psionically would be far more covert (well has the potential to be anyways ). The point was that we already have ways of killing so if killing was effective we would have utilised it already.

please dont talk about these evil stuff...newbies(including me) would think its a good thing.. That's kind of the reason I started this post. I know/heard of so many newbies trying to hurt others for what ever reason. Unfortunatly it's sort of common, but luckily those newbies don't have much power. I'm also curious as to how much damage a person could do with psi and still be able to know that they did it. What I mean is, I would like some people to argue, the real chance that some one could attain this much power. I think it is a very, very real possibility. Anyone else have some good thoughts or opinions?

Bottom line is, no one has the right to take someone else's life, or if they deserve to live or not. The fact that some people do it doesn't make it ok for you to do it. You should know that. The only way the ability to kill with psi would come in handy is the rest of the power you can have. If you're able to kill, you're surely able to do other stuff.
Kill is a bad word. Go play a FPS. there you can kill all you want.

To be simple here, yes it is possible. Even a single person could do it, but its not an instant thing, and would take far more effort than it would be worth, even against a mass-murderer. On top of that, it is still immoral to kill, even if the person has killed someone else.
It would be far more effiecent to use that strength to simple alter thoughtpatterns enough to remove all traces of violent thought. If you want to get technical, I "Technically" know at least ten different ways to cause extreme harm/death with psionics. I lack the power to use six of those methods, and three of them would take weeks/months of endless concentration on that one goal, then several months/years to have the desired effect. On the other hand, I could spend fifteen minutes to calm someone's mind, remove anger/rage, and then create a construct that locks their mind into that pattern.
If you were truely to try to get this to work the way I think you are talking about, you would need a group of several highly skilled people who work in near-perfect harmony with one another. Perhaps twelve people each ten times stronger than I am could do it. At any rate, I would rather that no one try it, due to how immoral it is, though I don't really have a say in what anyone does.
Just try to recognise that the best solution to most problems is a non-violent one. In very few cases is violence the best response, much less required.

Killing is wrong no matter who you kill. why should killing a criminal be any better than killing a regular cidizen. It's still killing

Killing is wrong. Period. Everyone has a right to live, even if they do horrible things. Like empath999 said, it doesn't matter who you kill, the point is that you HAVE killed. I don't even know if I could even go through with killing a person in the first place. If you could somehow throw the "bad guys" in jail with psi, then yeah, sure, go ahead. But to kill someone, even if they've done it themselves, is a terrible thing to do.

Yes, think back... When we were kids and someone took our toy (preschool era). T\It didnt make it right to slap them and take thiere toy, did it?
Killing with psionics could actually be feesable, depending on how you do it. The human body is made up of three fourth's water. If you get godly at Aquakinesis the pull it right out of them. Or you, know rupture the heart with some TK. Think about it...
