But, if this does hit the mainstream, everyone will be trying to sell things that "Naturally enhance your psychic abilities!" Well, that's just BS. The only thing that can enhance them is practice. I don't agree with half the products out there saying to "help your problems". There's cancer cures out there that almost cost nothing, but the government won't use them because they'd lose their money. Psionics would just be a benefit to them, because they would lie and deceive most of the population into thinking that if they take this pill, or drink this drink, it will make them able to use their skills better. Now now... I know there would be some people out there trying to con others about this Cu, but there are some thing that can actually help you get better in psionics. Some Crystals for example, they do help in the fields of energy manipulation and energy work, and if you don't believe me see it for yourself. Research about watches, they are powered by quartz, due to it's ability to store energy, the quartz acts like an energy storage(mainly) and keeps the watch running. In auto-quartz watches, the automatic part moves with a pendulum which keeps the quartz charged so you don't have to use bateries on it ever!, and it's just a single crystal. Diamonds and other gems are used in the optic field, because they power laser beams used in eye cirguries and laser procedures. So if crystals and stones are capable of doing such amazing things, imagine using them to help you store energy and then releasing it some time later, or to help you meditate by gathering your energy. Those thing can actually help you increase your psionics, so don't go around telling that all of them are fluff because they are not. If you don't believe me type "Auto-quartz wacthes" to see the mechanism.

I know that, but if it does people won't know what to believe. They'll think that anything can help them be better than anyone else.

dude you got it wrong about the watches.. it uses the bodies own motion to power it. and the quarts doesnt hold the power it just allows the electricity to pass through it in the correct way for the watch.
The quartz focuses the energy of the laser.

The quartz focuses the energy of the laser. Yeah sorry, but the point is still valid, those crystals do help while working with energy, either to focus the energy or to amplify it...

I've figured it all out. Psionics hasn't hit the mainstream, because no one is working to get it there. All people seem to want to do now is work on constructs, come up with radical ideas with no support or anything, or just dream about what it would be like if you could move cars with your mind.
Sorry about the bad connotation, but I honestly believe this is the biggest problem. Fairly recently a new board was added to this site, the experiment board. The purpose of which was to actually study psi. Study it, learn about it, find proof of it, do experiments with it where the observations and data of the experiments would be useful and observable by other people. Yet no one seems to care, except for a few people.
But even with a few people you'd think something would happen right? Not at all. I've added an experiment, in full research book format, and not one person has done it. Infact, Rippy may have been the only person to even read it.
And I'm not trying to say I'm mad cause no one is using my experiment. If it's bad tell me. But if you don't try to understand psi better, try to spread the message, and try to prove things, scientifically, about psi to yourself and others, then don't sit back and ask why it hasn't hit the mainstream yet. the answer is because no one is working for it too.
And some may argue against the whole scientific approach. But let me tell you, if you ever want Psionics in the mainstream (and getting it in the mainstream would help it in countless ways), then you start out with science, because science IS the mainstream.

Who really cares though? I mean if someone wants to become a psion. It will fall into their lap. They can research. I didn't know telekinesis was possible until I googled "How to move objects with your mind". The mainstream doesn't need psionics and vice versa.

This is something I believe everyone can benefit from. Why not promote it?

i think psionics is a bit far ahead of our time. this is how things are discovered and invented, through time and progress. when Edison bet he could make a working lightbulb by New Year's Day people laughed. now most people use lightbulbs! just work hard, have patience, and dont worry bout what society thinks till ya gots da proof! that'll set em straight. though when you show them, dont be suprised if they dont believe it still. that just shows their in shock.

i would have to agree with seraph here. why do you think they group us together as occult or new agers?
if im not mistaken occult means hidden(they dont look for us so we do in fact remain hidden)
